Program Director
The executive leader of the HBM Youth & Nutrition Program, providing strategic leadership, organizational vision, and program oversight while advancing the mission and values of Healing the Breach Ministries.

Position Summary
The Director may appoint a qualified designee to oversee daily on-site program operations, allowing the Director to remain focused on leadership, growth, partnerships, and organizational excellence.

The HBM Youth & Nutrition Program exists to provide children and families with a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment through nutritious meals, academic support, STEM enrichment, mentorship, life-skills development, and character-building opportunities. Leadership Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and long-term vision for the HBM Youth & Nutrition Program
- Champion the mission, vision, and core values of Healing the Breach Ministries
- Develop and strengthen relationships with schools, churches, families, businesses, and community partners
- Recruit, mentor, and develop future leaders within the organization
- Appoint and provide oversight to a designee responsible for daily program operations
- Collaborate with executive leadership on organizational planning, growth, and expansion
- Promote innovation, excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Serve as a professional ambassador for Healing the Breach Ministries throughout the community
Executive Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership experience in education, nonprofit leadership, child care administration, youth development, or a related field
- Proven ability to think strategically and lead with vision
- Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
- Experience developing partnerships and engaging community stakeholders
- Ability to mentor, empower, and develop leaders
- Commitment to operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Passion for serving children, strengthening families, and transforming communities
- High ethical standards, professionalism, and integrity

Program Leader
A responsible and organized leader to oversee daily operations of the afterschool program, ensure a safe and positive environment, and support staff and students.
🗣 Bilingual Required (English/Spanish)
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily activities and ensure program goals are met
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment
- Oversee staff and volunteers; provide guidance and support
- Communicate with parents, staff, and community partners
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures
- Address issues and resolve conflicts professionally
- Maintain accurate records and reports
Qualifications
- Experience in supervision or program leadership preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of youth development and safety practices
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish (bilingual required)

Cook / Food Service Staff
A reliable and detail-oriented Cook to prepare and serve nutritious, CACFP-compliant meals for children in our afterschool program.
🗣 Bilingual Required (English/Spanish)
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve healthy, CACFP-compliant meals
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain accurate meal counts and records
- Ensure timely meal service during program hours
- Keep kitchen and dining areas clean and organized
- Assist with inventory and food ordering as needed
Qualifications
- Experience in cooking or food service preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, organized, and team-oriented
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish (bilingual required)
Volunteer Opportunity
Bilingual Volunteer
Join our team of caring volunteers and help create a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for youth in our afterschool program.

Responsibilities
- Support daily activities and ensure program goals are met
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment
- Communicate with staff and follow all policies and procedures
- Encourage positive behavior and participation
- Maintain confidentiality and respect for all participants
- Attend training and volunteer meetings as required
Qualifications
- Passion for working with youth
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, responsible, and committed
- Must be 16 years or older
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus
